Unfortunately we have too much data on our economic state. The simple truth is that we're consuming more than we supply. i think there can be no doubt that we can consume less without suffering so that's where we should start. if we consume less we'll need to supply less with less work. What's wrong with that especially if we can all share the reduced employment.

Now that anyone can make content, and they do, a lot of it is s***. That is undeniably true, but however it is not the point. Its the joy of joining in, of participation. Twitter might (just) go away. But the UGC that underlise your complaint is a feature of the net and is here to stay. No participation = no audience online. Get over it. 140 characters and a tiny URL are enough to point me at anything. And I love it.

My only complaint with the iphone and the 3GS had the same issue is its very easy to send an email accidential before you have finished composing it and when reviewing emails easy when scrolling down with your finger to delete the email because the delete icon is in the centre of the screen at the bottom. My only other issue is the keyboard which if typing quickly its very easy to touch the wrong key. Aside from these issues the multiple app. and in my case many are work related,, the maps, weather not to mention the ipod & internet browsing whilst on the go are great. My wife is also happy as she can find her closest Starbucks with their app where ever she is!

I like to think that if I was to win the Lottery I would still not be able to convince myself to part with such a large wad of money for an alcoholic beverage (especially considering I would happily spend a maximum of £3 on a bottle of wine in my student days).

While it is unfair that the big dogs (or should I say fat cats) of society earn ten, maybe even a hundred times more than we earn, Gwyther is right to highlight that wealthy citizens such as Terry Leahy are using their wealth to benefit our society in these times of economic hardship. All this talk of upcoming fat cat protests reminds me of the recent press coverage on the BBC’s plans to publish celebrities’ salaries; is it really necessary and, ultimately, will it bring about change? www.article10.com

You're right, however if the wealthy are also greedy and selfish, then society has to be able to force them to either curb their self-reward through stringent taxes or create ways to ensure that the wealth they generate using us (the muggins who are really creating their wealth) is more fairly shared.

The world is not fair but it could be fairer. And don't go on about how much wealth is generated through banks etc. This is generated by skimming money from every man, woman and child and pouring it into pockets that are already overflowing to excess.

Don't get me started - I'm already beginning to sound like a communist!
