    Time to banish jargon from the bored-room?

    The public sector's one of the worst offenders for pointless jargon. But it's not alone...

    This is typical of the public sector - worry about the message rather than actually doing something about the problem. How about this: sack people that can't or won't do their job. That's pretty simple language.

    People in public sector who can't do their job get given an assistant. If that fails they get promoted, if that fails they are retired on full pension. No one is sacked.
