Few voters would miss public sector vanity publishing that few read and which aims to create self-praise and re-election. Few would miss the army of public sector business advisors who seem desperate to find 'clients' and have seemingly bottomless expense accounts. Do public sector appointments need to take so much space in the daily and sunday papers? Why does the public sector, local authorities, employ so many people through agencies which mean the cost can be nearly doubled? Why do agricultural colleges subscribe to my Farm IDEAS magazine through agencies which means they pay half as much again?
