Reply Contact Well, those of us who like prudence or no debt will know after the budget which way we are going to go with our vote, wont we? In his hands lies I suspect the fate of this government... might seem simplistic but political memories amongst the electroate are akin to that of a goldfish. This might well be remembered.

Reply Contact I think that's absolutely right - though it would be fairly alarming if a sitting Government was judged on the basis of a nice pre-Election income tax cut rather than its track record over the course of the parliament...
